So today we went for our evaluation. Even though we knew what they were asking and could answer the questions they asked they still said that we need to start in unit one as our grammar needs some work. At least we have a good basis from which to start and grow on.
We are getting new neighbours soon and there have been four guys working away in the courtyard beside our house. Unfortunately they have decided to make a large enclosed area in front of their house thereby taking away about 1/4th of Marc’s biking space. It’s quite the fancy metal fence they have installed. They use baskets which they carry on a stick resting on a shoulder (see photo) to bring soil or sand in and rocks and other garbage out.
Tomorrow we have our orientation for language school and then real life starts. We must be at the school by 8:00 and we are free to go at 12:00. The kids start school at 7:45 and they are out at 2:45. It’s a long day that’s for sure. Indonesians are in school only for the morning or the afternoon. They also wear uniforms everyday. It looks really neat when you see them all going home from school together.

Well HI HO HI HO off to school you go. Too bad that you have to start the first unit but at least you have a head start and it all helps along the way. ARE YOU READY!!! So do your kids wear uniforms as well?
The kids here are heavy into it and loving it so far...mind you it is all fresh yet..but we hope it stays that they enjoy school. We are hip hop happinen busy too and no dilly dallying around anymore...up bright and early and on the go. Good though.
So are you going to keep going to your tutor for language yet? It all sounds rather interesting.
We actually have RAIN today...boy we forgot that it was actually wet! The ground is just sooo thirsty and in need of moisture. We actually forgot what wipers on the car were for.

Aunt Frieda calling!!!!!!!!!WoW!!!!!!!!!!You sure have your experiences.The Piece about your visit was interesting--actually all of them are.Really enjoy your stories about your experiences.And now it is BACK to SCHOOL for you both after being out for so many years.Wonder how you will like that.Sure sounds like you will be leading a busy life.Do you get exams at the end of each unit?Is it oral or written?????????I'll bet it looks nice---school uniforms--seen it in South Africa.It looks great--no peer pressure about clothing like here in Canada.Study hard and God Bless!!!!!!!!
Rain here too AND COLD.I had to kick in my furnace just to get the chilliness out of the house.Tomorrow they predict it will be only 5 degrees.In some areas of Alberta they got their first snowfall.Yikes!!!!!!winter is approaching.Yes ,I know all about Rammadan.You see I clean house for a Muslim couple.Have been doing that for a year now.Also very interesting but not my way of life.I do eat their food.You see they come from Sudan.Best get to work now--clean bird cages--tomorrow is garbage day.Will think of you all with lots of LOVE and I continue to PRAY for you ALL.

Would you believe your mother is actually learning how to use this baby. To bad you have to start unit one, but that might even help you get adjusted to the new experience of school.I'm sure everything will work out just fine. Look at it this way you're going to talk to a lot of people in the next little while. May be have some very interesting conversations.
